Farmers Weekly: Honey Bee swather expands cropping options for Hants grower
The self-propelled swather has been slowly sidelined in favour of running through with a sprayer to deliver a shot of glyphosate. The attraction of glyphosphate and similar chemical techniques are that they're quicker and cheaper.
However, for organic growers and those looking to reduce their reliance on agrochemicals, the swather the only reliable way of regaining control at Harvest.
