Nicky works in our busy and extremely well organised office! She takes the majority of the calls made to Dad and I, and keeps the pair of us in order. She has the important role of keeping our books up together, making sure everyone gets paid, and that everybody pays on time. Nicky also helps to keep another farms books up together as well and spends  two mornings a week in their cold porter cabin helping farmer Jim find various ways to control moles (the bain of his life) but that's a story for another time!

Nicky has lived in the area for all of her life, and her family is well known in the local village of Kingsclere where they used to have a bakers shop. She is married to Eric who is an electrical specialist doing all things electrical. The two of them spend their holidays in some really remarkable places and have recently been going to Africa for their holidays. The stories that she comes back with form their time out there really makes me want to visit.

Every morning Nicky is up at silly o'clock taking her labrador out for her morning walk, she puts me to shame when I say that I got up early to go off with the sprayer, because as early as i can crawl out of my pit she's already been up and got on with life, and she does it every day of the year, not, like me, on the rare occasion that I've got behind with the sprayer like I do.
